Winston Salem Christian National is headed into the  contest after thoroughly thrashing Oak City Prep: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Winston Salem Christian National blew Oak City Prep out of the water with  a  58-24 final score. Given the Lions' advantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked first, while the Bears are ranked 32nd), the result  on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

  Jocelyne Grier continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  going 6 for 7 from beyond the arc on her way to 22  points in addition to five  rebounds and four  steals. Her afternoon made it seven games in a row in which  she has scored at least ten points.  Fantine Adgnot was another key player,  putting up ten points.
Meanwhile, Bishop McGuinness was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Bethany Community 65-24.
 Winston Salem Christian National better keep an eye on  Adelaide Jernigan. She was instrumental in Bishop McGuinness' win,  dropping  a double-double on 29  points and ten  boards. Jernigan has been hot for a while, having  posted 17 or more points the last 18 times she's  played.
 Winston Salem Christian National has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record  this season. As for Bishop McGuinness, their victory bumped their record up to 18-0.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Winston Salem Christian National has been crashing the  rebounds this season,  having  averaged 29.8  boards per game. However, it's not like Bishop McGuinness struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 29.4  rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Winston Salem Christian National took their  win against Bishop McGuinness  in their previous meeting  back in February of 2024 by a conclusive  59-38.
