Peyton Spann posted a new career-high in runs on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. He has become a key player for Smithville: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-18 otherwise.

Coming up, Spann and Smithville will head out to take on Tremont at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Seminoles are a perfect 10-0 against the Eagles going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
