Baseball Recap: Coahoma Comes Up Short

The Coahoma Bulldogs came up short against the Brownfield Cubs on Saturday, falling 8-2.

Coahoma saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah White, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Coahoma's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Brownfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Coahoma will be playing in front of their home fans against Denver City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Denver City will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Coahoma surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brownfield, they will head out to take on Lamesa at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lamesa is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
