Jeremiah Garcia Game Report: vs Port Isabel

Jeremiah Garcia won't forget Friday's contest any time soon: he posted double-digit total tackles for the first time in his career. He made ten total tackles (1.0 for loss) as Edcouch-Elsa took down Port Isabel 28-7. That new career-high tops his previous best of four total tackles (the last time he made that many was last Thursday.

Garcia and Edcouch-Elsa will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mercedes at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. The Yellowjackets have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since October of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
