Volleyball Recap: Chetopa Comes Up Short

Chetopa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Galena Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in September.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-5.

Chetopa's loss dropped their record down to 1-16-2. As for Galena, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Chetopa and Galena will both be playing Baxter Springs the next time they take the court. The Hornets will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
