Baseball Recap: Patton Takes a Loss

Patton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chase Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Tuesday.

Patton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cohen Christian, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Patton now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Chase, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Patton has already played their next match, a 16-6 victory against Avery County on the 14th. As for Chase, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-1 defeat against Atlantic Shores Christian on the 14th.
