Football Game Preview: Kellogg Wildcats vs. Grangeville Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Kellogg Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Grangeville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kellogg has given up an average of 45.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kellogg is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They were dealt a 66-26 defeat at the hands of Anaconda.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Grangeville's strategy against St. Maries on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bulldogs blew the Lumberjacks out of the water with a 50-0 final score. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 43-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lumberjacks had no chance of recovering from.

Kellogg better keep an eye on Gage Smith. He was instrumental in Grangeville's win, throwing for 108 yards and a pair of TDs, while also punching in one rushing score. That rushing touchdown was Smith's first of the season.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Grangeville proved: they limited St. Maries to a paltry -0.5 yards per carry. The Bulldogs' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.7.

The victory made it two in a row for Grangeville and bumps their season record up to 4-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Kellogg, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Kellogg took a serious blow against Grangeville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 50-22. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
