Basketball Game Preview: CSTHEA Patriots vs. Upper Cumberland Rams

The CSTHEA Patriots will head out to square off against the Upper Cumberland Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, CSTHEA didn't have too much trouble with Chattanooga Central as they won 65-47.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Upper Cumberland, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past Rocket City with a 64-58 win on Saturday. The Rams' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

CSTHEA's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Upper Cumberland, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.

CSTHEA didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Upper Cumberland in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, but they still walked away with a 48-42 victory. Will CSTHEA repeat their success, or does Upper Cumberland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
