Basketball Game Preview: Ayden - Grifton Chargers vs. South Lenoir Blue Devils

The Ayden - Grifton Chargers will challenge the South Lenoir Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, Ayden - Grifton came up short against South Central and fell 67-59. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday South Lenoir sidestepped Ashley for a 64-61 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Ayden - Grifton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for South Lenoir, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Ayden - Grifton was able to grind out a solid victory over South Lenoir in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 57-49. Does Ayden - Grifton have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Lenoir turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
