Basketball Recap: Elizabeth Takes a Loss

Elizabeth lost against Marquez two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Elizabeth Bulldogs were dealt a 74-38 loss at the hands of the Marquez Gladiators. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cravon Charles was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds for Marquez. Charles is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 55% in the last four games he's played. Anthony Ford was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight steals and five boards.

Elizabeth's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Marquez, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-12.

As of now, neither Elizabeth nor Marquez have any future games scheduled.
