Adam Denkert Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Kenesaw got the W thanks in part to Adam Denkert playing the best football he has all season. Denkert's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 74 yards.
For the year, Denkert has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 63.1 receiving yards per game.

Bergstrom Posts Huge Game in 60-28 Win
Elijah Bergstrom posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 284 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 64 yards.
The win was the fourth in a row for Axtell, bringing their record for this year to 4-4. Bergstrom and Axtell will head out to face off against Mullen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Quin Oberg's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fifth-straight game with 173+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 197 yards, and also picked up 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 58 yards.
This year, Oberg has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 45.4 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had eight rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 16.

Jacob Halvorsen Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Jacob Halvorsen posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (108.4). He has become a key player for Axtell: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
