Softball Recap: Warwick Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Warwick had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They skirted past the Northern Lebanon Vikings 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Kate Shaak spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Warwick saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Nolt, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Warwick pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Northern Lebanon, they moved to 15-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Warwick nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
