Football Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times MacArthur and Rochester have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Generals were dealt a 51-14 loss at the hands of the Rockets. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 46-0 to the Rockets when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Rochester, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MacArthur will host Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rochester, they will be playing at home against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets will be up against the Senators' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.29 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
