Soccer Recap: Midlothian Heritage Takes a Loss

After flying high against Terrell last Tuesday, Midlothian Heritage came back down to earth. The Midlothian Heritage Jaguars fell just short of the Midlothian Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Jaguars couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Bri Finch, who's now up to two this season.

Midlothian Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Midlothian, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Midlothian Heritage challenge the Kaufman at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midlothian, they will head out to square off against Red Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Red Oak is on a five-game streak of home wins, Midlothian a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
