Monsignor Farrell is a perfect 5-0 against St. Raymond Boys since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Ravens at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

On Tuesday, Monsignor Farrell needed a bit of extra time to put away Kennedy Catholic. They skirted past the Gaels 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, St. Raymond Boys faced St. Peter's in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Ravens had just enough and edged out the Eagles 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Ravens, who have now won three matches in a row.

Monsignor Farrell's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for St. Raymond Boys, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Monsignor Farrell was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Raymond Boys in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 5-1. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Ravens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
