After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southwestern, New Washington was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Switzerland County Pacers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Mustangs not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10th (when they won 3-0).

New Washington not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Switzerland County between 17 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-18.

Kaylee Lawrence paced New Washington's offense, picking up 18 kills. Lawrence got some help from Addy Lathem and her 26 assists. Maelyn Sarver controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

New Washington's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-17. As for Switzerland County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Looking ahead, New Washington will head out to face off against Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Switzerland County, they will be playing at home against Southwestern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
