Baseball Recap: Littlestown Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Littlestown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Delone Catholic Squires 10-0 on Thursday. The Thunderbolts haven't had any issues with the Squires recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Braylen Branham was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jackson Bacher, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Littlestown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Littlestown's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Delone Catholic, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8.

Littlestown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Squires: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
