Softball Recap: West Potomac's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

West Potomac was the 4-0 winner over Lake Braddock when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolverines fell 6-2 to the Bruins on Friday. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Avery Garr was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.

West Potomac's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lake Braddock, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

West Potomac will be playing at home against Robinson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lake Braddock, they will take on Fairfax at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
