Baseball Recap: Jefferson West's Undefeated Season over After 19 Games

Jefferson West blew Sabetha out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Sabetha got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 5-3. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Brody Thelen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jefferson West fell to 18-1. As for Sabetha, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Jefferson West has already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Perry-Lecompton on the 1st. As for Sabetha, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-4 victory against Riley County on the 1st.
