Volleyball Recap: Friday's Win Is Scottsbluff's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Scottsbluff won the last time they faced Bridgeport and things went their way on Friday too. The Bearcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs.

Scottsbluff never let Bridgeport on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23.

Scottsbluff's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lillian Hays, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Hays has posted over her last six contests. Alainah Salas was another key player, getting eight digs.

Scottsbluff has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Bridgeport, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
