Football Recap: Kaelan Williams Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat St. John Paul II Catholic

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Highland Prep West, Heritage Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the St. John Paul II Catholic Lions with points to spare, taking the game 26-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaelan Williams, who picked up 133 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another signal caller making a difference was Kacey Mosby, who threw for 103 yards and a pair of TDs on only five passes.

Despite the loss, St. John Paul II Catholic still got an impressive performance from Isaac Seanz, who rushed for 28 yards and six scores.

Heritage Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Heritage Academy has already played their next game, a 6-3 loss against Antelope on the 26th. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 28-0 victory against Catalina on the 26th.
