Softball Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

Eldorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 29-8 to the Clark Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in March.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Clark, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3-1.

Coming up, Eldorado will challenge Doral Academy Red Rock at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Firehawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dragons have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season. As for Clark, they will square off against Pinecrest Academy Cadence at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Chargers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
