Basketball Recap: Plainview's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Plainview had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 55-44 victory over the Ider Hornets. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Plainview's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Ider, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainview will be home for the holidays to greet Mars Hill Bible at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ider, they will take on Ardmore in a tournament on Thursday.
