Lisbon was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Madison on Wednesday. The Greyhounds put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 20-5 victory. This was payback for the Greyhounds, who suffered an 8-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mackenzie Eaton was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Eaton was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.

In other batting news, Lisbon got a massive performance out of Aubriana Bright, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brynn Chase, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

The win got Lisbon back to even at 1-1.

Lisbon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 23-2 victory against Mount Abram on the 25th. As for Madison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-0 defeat against Winthrop on the 25th.
