Dakota takes loss despite strong efforts from Bella Keyes and Peyton Woodsmall

Recap: Dakota Indians vs. Orangeville Broncos

The Dakota Indians suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 73-33 loss at the hands of Orangeville. Dakota has not had much luck with Orangeville recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Peyton Woodsmall and Bella Keyes certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Woodsmall scored nine points along with seven rebounds, while Keyes scored six points along with five rebounds.

Dakota's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-13. As for Orangeville, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dakota will take on Lena-Winslow at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Orangeville, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Aquin Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Aquin Catholic will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
