Football Recap: Magee Takes Down Quitman in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Magee had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 23-16 victory over the Quitman Panthers on Friday.

Travon Magee threw for 116 yards and one TD. Braeden Gregory was his top target, picking up 97 receiving yards and one touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Quitman lost, don't look at Jamarioun Dear. Despite the final result, he rushed for 147 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries.

Magee's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Quitman, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.

Magee didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-20 defeat against Franklin County on the 14th. Quitman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
