Softball Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Richland's offense. They came up short against the Grapevine Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 9-0. The Royals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Richland saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mia Berain, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

This is the second loss in a row for Richland and nudges their season record down to 11-5-2. As for Grapevine, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coming up, Richland will square off against Argyle at 7:00 p.m. on March 28th. As for Grapevine, they will welcome Irving at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
