Basketball Recap: Waukon Comes Up Short

Waukon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crestwood Cadets. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cadets earlier this season, when they won 58-46.

Waukon's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Crestwood, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-13.

Waukon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 82-64 defeat against La Crescent on the 10th. As for Crestwood, they have also already played their next game, an 84-44 loss against MFL MarMac on the 10th.
