Perkins-Tryon entered their tilt with Bristow on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They secured a 65-59 W over the Bristow Pirates. Given the Demons' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Pirates are ranked 303rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brian Hopgood. Jr., who went 5 for 8 on his way to 13 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks. With that strong performance, Hopgood. Jr. is now averaging an impressive 2.1 blocks per game. Another player making a difference was Tayt Jackson, who posted 22 points.

Perkins-Tryon pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Bristow, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perkins-Tryon will host Mannford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bristow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cleveland at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
