Loara has gone 9-1 against Orange recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Saxons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 3:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Loara came up short against Garden Grove and fell 10-7.

Meanwhile, Orange waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Falcons.

Scarlett Poitra spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. Those 16 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

At the plate, Orange got a massive performance out of Anabelle Alvarado, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Those two runs gave Alvarado a new career-high. Liliana Nunez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Orange always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santa Ana Valley only posted an OBP of .276.

Loara dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Orange, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Everything went Loara's way against Orange in their previous matchup back in March, as Loara made off with an 11-3 victory. Do the Saxons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
