Football Recap: Adrian Maples vs. Lincoln Railsplitters
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Adrian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Lincoln Railsplitters 35-14. The result was nothing new for the Maples, who have now won six games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Adrian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cooper Howard and Lamont McKinney.
Despite the defeat, Lincoln had strong showings from Greg Myers, who gained 157 total yards, and Sam Bentley, who threw for 142 yards and one touchdown.
