Basketball Recap: Xavier Takes a Loss

If Xavier was feeling good fresh off their 70-39 takedown of Jefferson last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Xavier Saints fell just short of the Waterloo West Wahawks by a score of 61-58 on Tuesday. The loss was the Saints' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Xavier fell to 3-1. As for Waterloo West, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Xavier will head out to face off against Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Waterloo West and Prairie will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
