It was a good run, but Addison unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Point Warriors. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Addison started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-11, 25-19, 25-9.

Despite the loss, Addison had strong showings from Kabri Dyson, who had 13 digs, and Ava Bartlett, who had seven kills, two aces, and one block. Bartlett is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Addison's defeat dropped their record down to 21-12. As for West Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-14 record this season.

Addison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against St. Bernard Prep on the 7th. As for West Point, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Russellville on the 7th.
