Soccer Recap: Germantown Starts Season with Win on the Road

Germantown had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Union Grove Broncos 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Germantown were the better team in the second half.

Megan Grater and Maggie Otte scored both of Germantown's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Union Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Germantown will venture away from home to face off against Menomonee Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union Grove, they will head out to square off against Lake Forest Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
