Recap: Worthington Christian Warriors vs. Grandview Heights Bobcats
The Worthington Christian Warriors won the last time they faced the Grandview Heights Bobcats, and things went their way on Wednesday too. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Worthington Christian made off with a 42-41 victory over Grandview Heights.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Natalie Smith, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Smith hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Lusher, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Worthington Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Grandview Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worthington Christian will challenge Columbus School for Girls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Columbus School for Girls is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Grandview Heights, they will head out on the road to take on Bishop Ready at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
