Baseball Recap: Braden Dubuc's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Oak Hill over Lewiston

Oak Hill fell victim to Lewiston and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Blue Devils, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Oak Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Dubuc, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Oak Hill and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Lewiston, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Oak Hill will head out on the road to square off against Gardiner at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lewiston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Messalonskee at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
