Volleyball Recap: Sanderson Starts Season with Win at Home

Sanderson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Knightdale Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

In the three sets Sanderson was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 21-25, 25-14, 25-14.

Looking ahead, Sanderson will challenge Wakefield at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Knightdale, they will square off against J.F. Webb at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
