Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Triumphs

Percy Julian came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Hillcrest, but J.T. Barlow wouldn't allow it. The Hillcrest Jaguars managed a 62-58 win over the Percy Julian Phoenix on Tuesday thanks in part to Barlow, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Jamir Sharpe, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Hillcrest's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Percy Julian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Hillcrest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-48 win against W.S. Neal on the 5th. As for Percy Julian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-47 victory against JAG on the 6th.
