Baseball Recap: Linn Wildcats vs. Owensville Dutchmen

Linn extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 9-14 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Owensville Dutchmen. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by just one run.

Linn saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Dudenhoeffer, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Linn will head out on the road to face off against New Bloomfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Owensville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. James at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
