Softball Recap: Pulaski County Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Ten must be Pulaski County's lucky number: they beat William Byrd with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Cougars beat the Terriers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-6. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Terriers: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Shelby Dobbins, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Carly Hight was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pulaski County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
