Soccer Recap: Montgomery Central Takes a Loss

Montgomery Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kenwood Knights. Montgomery Central fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Kenwood since on Thursday.

Montgomery Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Kenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Montgomery Central will square off against Clarksville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarksville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Montgomery Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kenwood, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Northwest at 7:00 p.m. This will be Kenwood's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
