Volleyball Recap: Athens Extends Winning Streak to Four

With a playoff win on the line, Athens rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the St. Teresa Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lydia Hart paced Athens' offense, picking up ten kills. Hart got some help from Arabelle Cunningham and her 16 assists. Chloe Barrett controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Athens' victory bumped their record up to 29-7. As for St. Teresa, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-23.

As of now, neither Athens nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
