Mercy is a perfect 3-0 against North Oldham since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Jaguars will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Mercy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Mercy came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Boyd County by a score of 10-8 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Jaguars have suffered since April 5, 2024.

Haley Rupe stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored a run while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was Allie Streble, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, North Oldham posted their closest victory since March 12th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Butler 9-7.

The win got North Oldham back to even at 6-6. As for Mercy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Mercy took their victory against North Oldham in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
