Recap: Valor Christian Eagles vs. Legend Titans
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Valor Christian Eagles can now relate to. They took a 20-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Legend on Friday. It was the first time this season that Valor Christian let down their fans at home.
Asher Weiner threw for 184 yards on 14 of 26 attempts. Cash Spence was his top target, picking up 67 receiving yards. On the ground, Blake Kirschke rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Jaden Lawrence was his usual excellent self, rushing for 198 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Lawrence's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Valor Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Legend, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Valor Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Legend also has no future games currently scheduled.
