Softball Recap: Fall Creek's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Fall Creek barely beat Arcadia the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Crickets put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 13-4 win on Tuesday. The Crickets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by nine runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Fall Creek's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Arcadia, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Fall Creek has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 defeat against Altoona on the 11th. As for Arcadia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against West Salem on the 10th.
