West Orange lost to Nutley two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Mountaineers came out on top against the Maroon Raiders by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountaineers.

West Orange easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20.

Nola Duncan paced West Orange's offense, picking up 19 kills. Duncan got some help from Cailee Cassidy and her 21 assists. Nora Hause controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

West Orange's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Nutley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Orange will host East Brunswick at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Nutley, they will challenge Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
