Volleyball Recap: Ware Shoals Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Hornets on Tuesday. Ware Shoals fell 3-1 to Dixie. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Dixie this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Ware Shoals started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-18, 25-11, 25-15.

Ware Shoals' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Dixie, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Ware Shoals will square off against Thornwell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Saints at the right time seeing as the Saints are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Dixie has already played their next matchup (against Calhoun Falls Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
