It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lake Braddock ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They beat the West Potomac Wolverines by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-2 victory on Wednesday.

The victory made it two in a row for Lake Braddock and bumps their season record up to 11-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for West Potomac, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lake Braddock is set to face off against their familiar foe Fairfax at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Potomac will square off against rival Robinson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
