Softball Recap: Mortimer Jordan Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Mortimer Jordan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cullman Bearcats on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Tatum Hays T., who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Keeton White was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games.
