Basketball Recap: Calhoun Falls Charter Comes Up Short

Calhoun Falls Charter was the 57-47 winner over Greenwood Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes lost 65-41 to the Greenwood Christian Hawks on Friday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greenwood Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ty Kennedy, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Scott-Palacios, who went 9 of 18 on his way to 23 points and seven rebounds.

Calhoun Falls Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Greenwood Christian, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

Calhoun Falls Charter will welcome Thornwell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenwood Christian has already played their next match, a 44-37 loss against Ragin Prep Christian Academy on the 18th.
